Governing Body Input to School Improvement

It is commonly held that governing bodies are able to make a valuable contribution to school improvement. In order to test this hypothesis, this research has analysed the views of Headteachers of schools judged by Estyn to be “improving”, on the input made by their governing bodies to their schools’ improvement.
