Summary
The Vale School Governors Association holds an annual conference each spring which normally attracts more than eighty Governors.

The Management Committee meets twice a term.

For 2009 / 2010, a new series of termly Education Updates and Briefings of Chairs of Governors has been instigated at which the Senior Officers will present issues for debate.

The Management Committee continues to be represented and play an active part on the Vale’s Education committees – Budget Forum, Admissions Forum, Education Scrutiny Committee, Workload Steering Group and LEA Governor Appointments Committee
