Summary
The Powys Governors Association is based on a three region approach with the coordination being provided by an Executive Committee which has a membership of three governors (i.e chair, vice chair and Parent Governors Representative) from each region.

The Executive is facilitated by the Local Authority Governor Training and Development Officer and Principal Advisor for Schools and Inclusion

The Powys Governors’ Association holds regional meetings in the Autumn and Spring Terms with an AGM and Conference held in the Summer Term. The executive meeting approximately five weeks before each regional meeting and the AGM

The Chair of the Governors Executive Committee is Wyn Owen representing North Powys. The Governors Executive Committee meets 3 times a year.
