Welcome to the Governors Wales website – through which we hope to provide you with the help, support and guidance to be an effective governor of a school in Wales.

Governors Wales is an independent organisation serving the needs of the 24,000 school governors in Wales.

We seek to support effective governance of schools in Wales and support the personal and professional development of individual governors.

We are proud to represent the views of governors on a range of matters affecting schools and in turn help them to govern their schools effectively.
